During my communications internship with the Provincial Health Services Authority, I supported the communications department with writing stories and captions for PHSA On Demand (staff intranet)’s news section and developed social media graphics to promote initiatives by Provincial Language Services (PLS), Health Emergency Management BC (HEMBC), and the Provincial Medical Imaging Office (PMIO).

One of my major projects was pitching ideas for and producing a social media video that highlighted PLS’ interpretation modalities available to health care providers in BC and the importance of equitable access to language support.
